In the Beginning was the plan. And then came the Assumptions.

And the Assumptions were without form and the Plan was without substance. Darkness was upon the faces of the Privates.

And the Privates went unto their Corporals and said, "This is a crock of shit and it stinks".

And the Corporals went unto their Sergeants saying, "It is a pail of dung and we can't live with the smell".

And the Sergeants went unto their Warrant Officers saying, "It is a container of excrement and it is very strong, such that none may abide it".

And the Warrant Officers went unto their Lieutenants saying, "It is a vessel of fertilizer and none may abide it's strength".

And the lieutenants went to the Majors saying, "It contains that which aids plant growth and it is very strong".

And the Majors went to the Commanding Officers saying, "It promotes growth and it is very powerful".

And the Commanding Officers went unto the Chief of Staff and said, "This new plan will actively promote the growth and vigor of the Forces with very powerful effects".

And the Chief of Staff looked upon the Plan and saw that it was good.

And the Plan became Policy.

And that, my friends, is how "shit happens".

Pass it on and inform the world!!

Remember this at Christmas Time

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.

Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl. We should've known... ONLY females would be able to drag a fat-ass man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost

If I get this 100 times, I will continue to forward it to others in the hopes that they will do the same.

We must never forget who gets the credit for the freedoms we have, of which we should be eternally grateful.

KEEP THIS GOING PLEASE?

I watched the flag pass by one day, It fluttered in the breeze. A young Marine saluted it, and then he stood at ease. I looked at him in uniform So young, so tall, so proud, with hair cut square and eyes alert He'd stand out in any crowd

I thought how many men like him had fallen through the years. How many died on foreign soil How many mothers' tears? How many pilots' planes shot down? How many died at sea? How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?

No, freedom isn't free.

I heard the sound of Taps one night, when everything was still, I listened to the bugler play and felt a sudden chill. I wondered just how many times that "Taps" had meant "Amen," When a flag had draped a coffin. Of a brother or a friend.

I thought of all the children, of the mothers and the wives, of fathers, sons and husbands with interrupted lives. I thought about a graveyard at the bottom of the sea, of unmarked graves in Arlington.

No, freedom isn't free.

Enjoy your freedom & GOD Bless Our Troops!
